Centromar Hotel is a company that cares about the environment, correctly allocating, reusing and redirecting resources used in the Hotel to collection or withdrawal points, thus finding ways to minimize our impact on the environment.

Our company has a Tree of almost 60 years in front of the Hotel reception, scientific name Ficus Benjamina, popular name Figueira, is approximately 20 meters high, this Tree collaborates with our environment, because the Trees have the ability to absorb polluting gases such as Sulfur Dioxide, was also found in studies that only one Tree can absorb more than three thousand liters of rainwater, reducing the contamination of groundwater and 7% in springs, urban wooded areas have 60% less pollution particles.

WE PARTICIPATE IN THE SELECTIVE COLLECTION

Every Thursday morning the collection is carried out by the city hall, we have special bins indicating to our employees and guests the correct way of disposal.

KITCHEN OIL

Cooking Oil is harmful to the environment and when thrown into the sewer system it causes clogging, recycling also allows for the production of various products such as resin for paints, soap, detergent, glycerin, animal feed and biodiesel.

COLLECTION OF PLASTIC COVERS

Collection of plastic lids and donated to two entities that do recycling, the first the amount is reverted to purchase a wheelchair and the second to help abandoned pets.
